Money doesn’t often leave the tight-fists of the wealthy
to line the pockets of the poor.
Trauma however,
is a currency that spills like freshly minted coins
into the reserves of the bankrupt.
There’s always a surplus in anger.
Desperation
begging to be invested
into those who are hungry
and handed a hundred stones instead.
